Who will you be helping?

WZH Het Anker is a residential care centre that provides a supportive living environment where care and well-being are central. The residents are older people with a range of care needs, including Parkinson’s disease, COPD, dialysis treatment or the effects of a stroke. Some live in small-scale residential groups, while others live more independently with light support.

Together, you will be going for a walk with some of the residents.

About Stichting Present

Present Den Haag connects people who have something to offer with people who could benefit from their support. As a volunteer intermediary, we give volunteers the opportunity to support people facing poverty, health challenges or social isolation. Present coordinates and supports the process and works closely with local community organisations.
